New York Costume Company was founded with a bold mandate: to become New York’s first union-led costume house serving TV & Film productions — built by costumers, for costumers.

Based at Great Point Studios in Yonkers, NY, NYCC set out to redefine what a contemporary costume rental house could be: operationally efficient, creatively rich, community-driven, and circular by design.

From inception, Emotif partnered with NYCC to build the company from the ground up — translating a powerful industry mission into a cohesive, culture-forward brand and a new kind of customer experience for the TV & Film costuming industry.
